Introducing Connect for ArcGIS’s Hosted Experience Builder

We’re excited to announce that Connect for ArcGIS now hosts Experience Builder for you, making it even easier to get started integrating ArcGIS Online with your business systems.

You no longer need to download and install the Developer Edition to get started. With Connect for ArcGIS, building your integrated web apps is faster and easier than ever. 

Custom widgets, simplified 

Connect for ArcGIS includes a built-in custom widget for Experience Builder, enabling seamless integration with your business systems.

Many ArcGIS Online users are familiar with the hurdles of using custom widgets, which often require finding a server and configuring the Developer Edition. Those days are over.

1. Launch your session 
   From the Connect for ArcGIS dashboard, click the Experience Builder tile and hit Start Session. In just a few minutes, your organization’s server will be up and running. Then, click Launch to open Experience Builder. 
2. Sign-in to your ArcGIS instance 
   If it’s your first time, select your ArcGIS site from the drop-down menu and sign in. 
3. Add the Connect for ArcGIS widget 
   Click Add Widget and scroll down to find the Connect for ArcGIS widget—pre-installed and ready to enhance your app. 
4. Deploy for your end users 
   Once you’ve built your app, return to Connect for ArcGIS to deploy for your end users.

Each Experience Builder session runs for two hours and automatically hibernates afterward.

Need more time? No problem. Extend your session anytime from the Connect for ArcGIS console—your work remains safe, even if the session ends.

All your apps are saved in Connect for ArcGIS, so you can pick up where you left off anytime.
